Greetings MWodiers!
As promised today’s video is the first part in our long overdue series about surviving an airplane seat. We are not faking this video. That seat was that horribly cramped. Fortunately, there is pretty much no arguing with 215 lbs of “lat”.

Bottom line: Make the most of it. Do what you can do, where you are.

MWod: Spend 2 min coming up with some crazy stretch in the chair for your tripceps/working on arm flexion (arm up over head).
Then: For the remaining 8 min, stretch your forearms and unglue those arm soft tissues with your trusty pain ball.

Bonus points: Exactly how much water did you drink today?
The crossfitendurance.com prescription is half your bodyweight in ounces as a BASELINE. Only water and coconut water count….Not sparkly carbs.

Tomorrow: Rainier Crossfit and more heavy lifting.

As a shorter guy, every time I fly economy I'm grateful I don't have to endure Spanish Inquisition levels of discomfort in my seat. Great tips there for us all. I am making real progress on overall mobility through this blog – thank you.

ps K*Star, you filled Thursday's Munster shirt with pride and passion. As we say in Munster, "To the brave and the faithful, nothing is impossible." Keep flying the flag, brother!

Best MWOD yet! In my former life I took over 50 flights in 2 years, most over 10 hrs long. Wish I was thinking of this stuff back then.

I've struggled for a few weeks with the lacross balls. I have a few but wanted more.
This was the best deal I found online at $1.10/ball

thought I'd share… if someone finds a better deal by all means let me know.

    Accumulated water consumption +/- 1x ounces:bodyweight:

Accumulated mwod goodness for today (throughout the day):

    after back squats and tabatas:
2:00 per side of Bulgarian box squat (jump out) stretch)
    0:30 per side couch stretch

after dinner (while holding a paleoesque beverage and watching some tv):
    6:00 in full squat
3:00 per side lunge with front foot on box (half the time in external rotation)
10:00 various calf stretches on a slant board (45ยบ)
3:00 per side lacrosse ball roll on heel cords and plantar goods
1:00 per side of Jami's band stretch/strengthening for the "front" calves.
2:00 foam rolling upper back and lats

KStarr, thanks for your hard work in putting this thing together. I am learning so much, and am able to touch up little niggling aches and pains so easily and quickly.

Thanks for this one Kelly, I brought my Lacrosse Ball to work today to work my forearms/chesticles while sitting in my office.

Thanks for hitting the forearms. Guilty of ignoring those two friend of mine.
