I tore my achilles a few years ago, and it seems that where the scar from surgery is, is tacked down and doesn't move at all. I've tried using the pain ball to loosen this up, but it doesn't seem to make a difference. Is there any other way to break the tissue free? Thanks!
Awesome stuff K – helped me no end. Just looking for any advice here – after OH squats my thumb and index finger on my right hand felt a little bit numb, and the today, two days later my right arm just wasnt firing when benching. I've done some extra shoulder mobilisation but wondered if you had any other thoughts?
First time commenter. I love the site and check in pretty much every day. Great information usually presented in a straightforward manner. Today, however, the sexual tension between you and John was distracting to the viewer. I suggest either satisfy the carnal desires between you two or keep John off the mobility wod. It's too much like a moonlighting episode otherwise.
@ M Winker – Don't be a wanker. Add more fun to it! It makes it much easier to watch when we all know how much these things are going to hurt later. Telling him to down it down is the stupidest thing I've heard all day.
Oh, and BTW, it IS moonlighting… He posts this for free every single day and we don't have to pay for it like some people do when he does proper certs with all his knowledge. Criticizing something this valuable to your overall health is a bad move. It's one video – chill.
Kstar, you're amazing man – you are too smart for us all and the things you are helping my body do are amazing.
This blog is intended as a jump off point for athletes to systematically begin to address their nasty tissues and grody joint mobility. Use at your own risk and stop if you think it's gonna hurt you, your spine is going to come out your throat, or your face goes numb. But, understand that you should be responsible for your own business. Don't wait until you need a new knee. Pony up.
Good to see John playing with his big pink balls
.
Sent you an email too Kelly.
That was great! I have to watch it again now for the MWOD stuff. Sooo funny!
