Hey MWod Kids,

One of the mobilizations is not like the others….Sorry, but it works.

Test/Retest: Squat

Ps. The hip grinder harry potter stretch IS embarrassing.

Yep that last one is a bit freaky for the gym… But it works!
Thanks for this site, and your knowledge. I've been following you posts for about a month and it's made a tremendous improvement in my performance.
The only bummer is I'm thinking I should have gone to school for a DPT rather than a FNP.
    Superb work, thanks again!

    Kelly,

Thoughts on untrained but informed "self-graston'…will I hurt myself…for more than just a few minutes…

Long time lurker, first time… follower(?). I've done some MWODs here and there in the past. However, I've decided the best way to ensure I get a daily mobility dose was to hit the MWOD as it's posted. In the past I would stretch/SMR for 30 minutes to an hour, and then do nothing for several days. Recently I've gotten pretty inconsistent due to finals. Time to take no rest days.

So… this was pretty wicked good. Had to do everything at a public gym, and I think the first two mobs got more looks than the last one. I tried the first two mobs on a high bench, I will retry on a lower bench. I don't think I got as much out of the Quidditch mob as I could've, probably trying again will yield the narliness you're talking about.

Also, is there any risk of hitting a nerve on the Quidditch mob?

Yes, what is the risk of hitting nerves with any tool. (lacross balls) I hit certain spots regularly and I just want to know if there's a risk. Could I possibly do some damage?
