Hey Supple Legions,

Today’s assignment requires a 52 inch Television, a good movie, and a table.
Both of the openers today are aimed at working the hard to hit areas of your leg/back interface.
Try and collect 3 min each leg/each mob, and a good 1 min opening up the hammies near the knee.

Kstar, thanks for continuing the MWOD, they are awesome. What do you think of the microfiber reduction info posted by SOMAX? Seems too good to be true. – Jon Haase

So Somax will do for you what Kstar has taught you for only $350 an hour.

In regards to truth. I'm sure it is and it is why you start with lacross balls and rollers to break apart the fibers and re-establish the gliding properties of the muscle.

Quick question for the Caliph of Kinesiology-

We know about the benefits of Tabata exercise…what about Tabata stretching? For example, stretch hammies 20 sec followed by 10 sec of rest, or stretching quads.

    Thoughts?

I was insufficiently supple for the first mob on the table so I moved to the bed. For the same reason, I wasn't getting much out of the second mob, so I just did a hip flexion stretch on the back of a couch to get at the limiting factor. Used a lax ball for the hammies.

Marc, checkout PNF stretching – it might be similar to what you are conceiving.

Hello from Ohio, and thank you so much for all the work you have put into this website! The 1st stretch shown here on 12/22 gives my hip flexors a great stretch, but it really tweaks my knee, right at the ITB. Am I doing something wrong?
