We are talking about a revolution. Good work mobility soldiers. The Project works because you do the hard work. Unreal.
As a reward? Here is what I think to be, the most painful Mwod ever.
You’ve got to get 12 min of non-stop pain ball to the rib, beat down.
Since we’ve gone into the one million territory? Do you have a favorite Mwod?
Which ones are the most helpful to you and your friends. Which one do you send around?
Thanks.

The 4 Hour Body -

At the moment, the one that was most helpful was the one you did on SI dysfunction. That's something I believe I am suffering through now ever since an injury from a bailed clean. I hope that you do some more on it in the near future.
Thank you for all of your help. If there's anything more you can throw at me to help with the SID, that would be much appreciated.
Oddly enough I did this on my own last night with the addition of 4min foam rolling with arms OH extension. It hurts so good.
I've had some gnarly knots under my scap which I can feel and wife can see so crushing them with the ball enters the twilight zone, but I've added that black hole of passing out from pain. Embrace the change.
Best WOD was with Hobart. OH squat positioning. You opened the hips against the wall, did some band rotation and extension then finished with some rib crushing ball rolls.
Im noticing a constant tightness in my upper back/scap region which relates to these knots. I've tried combos of band extension, Boz stretch for shoulders, even breaking up the scales which feel like wire. Anything else to relieve that besides an adjustment by a professional? I'm on a ship for 3months with no outside help available. Would icing do anything?

Funny you mention this, I've been linking people like crazy to the WOD. I have to say any that involve HIPS/PSOAS are the ones I most love and the ones I most send to others. These have been incredibly helpful…no surprise you have had so many views. Thanks for all you do.
PS–I love the videos with "Bear Star" chiming in the background. Cracks me up!
The one, with me being in law enforcement, episode were you showed the stretches in in and on the car have been great. I use them daily and have noticed a change. I also throw in the chair of death stretches too. Thanks for all the help Kstar
Jon
Kstar – the most useful mWod? ALL OF THEM. For example, I tweaked something in my upper back. I don't know what exactly, but thanks to this FREE education from you, I knew exactly what do to (basically today's mWod + icing). Before mWod, I would have popped advil and complained. Thanks, Kstar, this is a really great gift to the community.
The one with the Pelvic Fault. I did the thing where you put the pillow between your legs and squeezed, felt a click in my pubic symphysis, and about 6 months of pain disappeared. Worked better than surgery!
Thanks to Kelly and the Starrets!
Congrats on the 1000K mark.
Best MWoD for me has been the thoracic mobs. The double balls and foam roller mobs releases my ribs and the locks I get in the sternum.
Lately is has been all the shoulder/neck mobs.
Also, not to forget the single ball round the scapula always finds a gnarly spot. The couch mob is also nice esp. with band distraction. In fact there is always a MWod I can apply to my aging body.
Keep up the good work!!
BTW I found my totem animal, it is a Honey Badger.
I enjoy every one of them but I could do with hearing your thoughts on recovery from femoroacetabular impingement (cam) with labral tear debridement surgery? I'm 5months post op now and still have impingement on internal rotation of the femur!
Hey K-Starr,
While every athlete has found their own MWoD of Death… There are a couple that I have found particularly helpful as a coach:
Anything hip flexor related, as chair's had destroyed all my athlete's hips, so:
– Samson Stretch on Steroids
– Wall/Couch Stretch
Additionally, the shoulders seem to be the next most locked down joint, so:
– Overhead with a band
– LAX ball to the traps
– Internal rotation with a superfriend pushing down
Congrats on the 1m hits!! And a BIG thank you for all the awesome work, Kelly, Family, and the rest of the superfriends!!
I agree with the above for sure. However, I have injury history on my right leg and terribly fail the FABER test. So all of the hip flexion-external rotation, Khalipa-glute, and groin mobs (e.g. putting two barbells on the femurs) are much appreciated.
