Happy New Year!

    Kelly,

You've mentioned dehydration and lack of electrolytes in the diet as contributing to stiffness and lack of flexibility. Are there any ways that flexibility can be improved by the diet or by supplementation? I stretch and stretch and never seem to see much improvement beyond an hour or so post-stretching.

Thanks and keep up the mobility wod, it's a great resource

Kelly, you have any ideas on how to remedy femeroacetubular impingement without surgery? I got it in my left hip and it feels like a panther clawing at my hip joints when I squat or lift my leg. Thanks.

Andrew–I have CAM type impingement in my hips (both) that has been confirmed with MRI and by some top docs. It may sound strange but all my hip pain is almost gone…no surgery. You know where the pain was (after two years of dealing with it? In my head.

This may not be you but seriously, after years of thinking I had this issue and a host of doctors telling me I had this impingement combined with pre-arthritic issues, I am almost 100% again.

Read John Sarno's book if interested. I had heard of it for a long time and finally read it. Reading that combined with some good shrink time took care of what is actual physical pain. Worth a try instead of surgery.

    Hi Kelly,

Quick question, when pulling from the floor in the snatch as I push my knees out I shift way too much on to the outside of my feet (a bit like andrei aramnau but worse) causing considerable power loss. Could you give me an idea about what might need mobilising in order to reduce/fix this?

Thanks, you've already fixed a hip problem of mine, hope you can fix this too!

    Tom

J-F Morneau – Glad you liked the cartoon. I prefer the real thing as well. So I second your thought.

Thanks to Kelly for his time and knowledge.
