Hey Mobilites,
Today’s mission is give the soft tissues of your low back a little scheduled love. Remember, spinal stability is way more important to an athlete than spinal mobility. Comma, while we typically see athletes with stabilization faulting, we do need to remember that a supple spine is a powerful spine.
Supple Up!
The real question? Can you mobilize on a roller coaster? You ain’t got what I got!

I love space mountain! And the ball to the QL was magic. Apparently the front of my hip isn’t the tight spot its my low back.
I love Space Mountain too–the way it seems like you’re going to get your head chopped off as you zing around the galaxy. Thanks to the MWOD I know how important it is to keep tight during the ride—good midline stability won’t let all that warp speed stuff mess with your spinal cord. Oh, and once I got stuck in the middle of the Indiana Jones ride. It sucked because the wait for the ride was an hour, but it was cool because we had to walk back to the surface and see all the cool stuff going on.
hey I got stuck at Space Mountain and Thunder Mountain on the same day
Ridiculous. I’ve been to K-Starr’s cert. I’ve seen about 218 mob episodes out of 233 and I STILL find a new nugget of info or mobility piece I can implement with both myself and our athletes to get better, stay technically proficient/safe and become more ninja-esque badass EVERY TIME I watch a clip.
Thanks, Kelly. (Bummer about Space Mountain, but hey, way to optimize the down time…)

Nice t-shirt my man! Can you do an MWOD where everything doesn’t hurt?
Space Mountain MWOD = Badassery
I’m diggin the manly black toe nails Kelly…only on the left side though, both sides wouldn’t be cool
P.S. great MWod, as always!
I never thought I would find such an everyday topic so etnhralling!
