Hey Mwodies,

Today’s mission is to further explore the mystery of “the sliding surfaces”. Check out the ankle case study before you spend a few minutes ungluing your hammies and distal calves. You won’t believe what a little bit of tacked down skin will do your your precious ankle range of motion. Ankle Pain? Heel Cord Pain? Plantar Pain? Keep thinking of your body as a system of systems. Now go and deal with your slidey bits.

So excited to try this! I’ve been hitting a ton of distraction to try to loosen up my Achilles and feel a good amount of tension right back there not a ton in the calf. Since my super-friends look at me like I’m crazy doing my mobility stuff, I’ll have to find a way to tack and stretch like you did with the ball. LOL

I could be that guy on the table. Great episode. I’m on it! “Due diligence” has been my new motto!

Could you, at some point during one of your episodes, speak about myofascial cupping? I recently had a treatment from my massage therapist and it was like magic. While I’m a suppleness-seeking disciple of the church of MWod, I found 15min of cupping unstuck some spots that hours of lacrosse ball beatdowns weren’t helping. I’d like to hear your thoughts.

    Keep up the awesome!

I think it would be great if you did a piece on sitting in the car and problems related to it for those that drive alot for work. I really liked your videos about “sitting is a skill, standing is a skill.”

He’s done a ton on desk warriors and those that are seated for the bulk of the day. Think “cracklin’”

wow, really briliant technique - I wish I had been shown it years ago. Can you use any ball e.g. tennis ball, or does it have to a firm ball etc

The lacrosse ball works great because its firm and tacks to the skin. Tennis balls are a bit squishy and they slide because they are fuzzy. ;)

this was a good one, working the ball down the hamstrings released a ton of nervy spots for me!
