Hey Performance Freeks,

Today’s episode is an example of how to wrap your heel cord for some hot tack and floss action (TFFA, BTW.) In our gym we are continue to notice that we are having better outcomes when we keep the compression wrap width to no more that four inches wide. We suspect we loose some of the tackability. The more we play with this concept, the more we love it. Two minutes is magical.

What tape is that you are using for wrapping?

I *think* it’s Kinesio tape but I’d like to get a confirmation on that.

I think it is actually a PT stretch band (or TheraBand) - not tape. You don’t need adhesion to the skin, just compression to get the sliding/shearing.

Man, I would love to go to SF to get an assessment on my leg dysfunctions. Santa, do you hear me?

The only TheraBands I can find are 5.5″ wide, and they’re able to keep the wraps to less than 4″ wide (that, and the band looks to be maybe 2, or 2.5″). Is there a specific brand or place where you can pick these up?

Um. Not a hater but the feet looked pretty even to me on the retest. I am a believer but I often see no to little difference, but FEEL much better after mob work.

Great video as always Kstar. Love the bubble vest-perfect for when you’re cold ‘just right there.’

I would have to have seen the retest angle from the same side that was mobilized. I believe, but seeing is believing.
