M|WOD Fidgetbar
Co-developed with MobilityWOD founder and accomplished physiotherapist Kelly Starrett, the Rogue Fidget Bar is a swinging, pendulum-style footrest designed for use with modern standup desks, as well as traditional work stations.
The idea is simple. As scientific studies have increasingly revealed the health benefits of standing desks, the importance of expelling energy and avoiding prolonged stationary periods has become a growing focus, as well. The Fidget Bar is designed specifically for this purpose, giving office workers and students—or those who regularly use a desk in their own home—a way to lightly exercise one foot at a time in a back-and-forth motion. This natural human need for movement makes it much easier to remain focused and comfortable in the standing position, and the same principle applies for “healthy fidgeting” when sitting at a desk, too.
The portable, stand-alone Rogue Fidget Bar features a 3/16” thick laser-cut steel frame with a satin black powder coat finish. The footrest bar itself is made from solid steel with a standard texture black powder coat, and measures 17.5” across and ½” in diameter. It sits within a UHMW plastic block on each side of the frame, and moves in a fluid motion with no unwanted noise. We’ve also included (6) rubber grommets at the base of the unit to prevent sliding and protect your flooring. All Fidget Bars include both the Rogue and MobilityWOD logos laser-cut into the steel.

Armor Plyo Box Stool Set
Prize includes (1) 20" box and (1) 12" box
After testing several boxes from other manufactures, we found that the two most common boxes (steel and plywood framed) had some serious flaws. The first flaw, which is common in both constructions, is the thin rubber mat that is attached to the top of box. Although this is useful for box squatting and provides somewhat of a soft landing for box jumps, it comes loose and falls off after very little use, rendering the box useless and unsafe (figure A). Not only that, but the rubber mat becomes slippery when wet, which can easily result in injury when used outdoors. Another flaw, which is consistent with boxes created out of square tubing or steel, have no side panels. Although this makes stacking and storing the boxes easy to manage, it creates a high risk for injury. For example, if an athlete jumps short of the platform and catches his or her foot on the opening of the box, they could scrape their shin on the edge, slam their knee on the top of the box, or fall down and inflict injury. While the solid plywood boxes often have a side panel, the wood tends to deteriorate rapidly over time—especially when used outdoors—which not only splinters the wood, but also compromises the integrity of its construction, which again can result in injury. Another common flaw associated with both boxes is the fact that they slip on a variety of surfaces. If you’ve tried to place either one of these boxes on the asphalt or outside on the concrete, you’ll notice that they slide across the ground with relative ease. Imagine jumping on top of the box and then having it slide out from underneath you. Ouch!
To fix the aforementioned flaws, Armor-Plyo-Boxes set out to create a safe and virtually indestructible box that could be used in any environment. To begin, we equipped each box with a solid side panel, which not only prevents an athlete from catching their foot on an opening of the box, but also allows them to slide down the surface of the box in the event of a missed jump. But unlike the plywood boxes, which rapidly splinter and deteriorate over time, each Armor-Plyo-Box is treated with our patented coating. In addition to providing a long-lasting, protective, non-slip construction, this coating acts as a sealant against moisture, increasing the safety and preservation of the box. Moreover, because the coating is permanently bonded to the entire wood frame (inside, outside, bottom, and top) the chances of slipping on the top of the box or having it slide across a given surface is dramatically reduced. Whether you’re a coach looking to provide clients or students with a safe and reliable product, or an athlete that wants an invaluable training tool that will stand the test of time, Armor Plyo Boxes are for you.
